After doing the contest with GQ Italy to design Nicky Hayden’s boots for the Mugello race and having a lucky winner, we got in touch with her: Rebecca, 16 y.o., and invited her to Misano.

Astars made sure that on the day she was at the race track she had a meet and greet with Nicky Hayden. They met and talked for a while. Nicky thanked her for the great boots she designed for him and she was obviously beaming with joy!

They both came to the meetings with gifts for each other. Nicky had some Team wear for her while she gave him a bracelet with Nicky’s race number engraved on it.

Nicky proved, once again, to be one of the nicest guys in the paddock and Rebecca left with a life-lasting impression of her favorite sport and her favorite rider.
